Love Easter weekend.
Road trip with my husband and our dogs. Spending time with my family. Sleeping in my old bedroom. Watching the joy on my lovely niece's face as she hunts for eggs. Wearing funny hats (it runs in the family!).

Not much plans as I'm in work both Good Friday and Easter Monday - but then I go to San Fran on Thursday so I don't care! ;)

Actually, Mr Fix It and I have a tradition of going to this sunrise service called Easter in the Meadows which takes place at our local concert venue. It's outdoors and we get there all bundled up at 5 am when it's dark outside and by the time the service is over, the sun has risen and it's just gorgeous!
After that, we come home and sleep for a few more hours and then do a breakfast or lunch somewhere with family :)

I love those hats! If I wasn't so swamped at work right now I'd definitely be out looking for hats and a wig to wear to this party I'm going to tonight (it has a "wig" theme).
I'm having 10 family members over for Easter Dinner on Sunday! No little ones yet in our family, so no egg hunts for us, but I can't wait until that changes!

Hi Mrs T! I've been following along quietly for a little while now but this easter post has inspired me to comment! My family also do 'easter bonnets' it used to be a bit of a competition about how crazy we could make them. We didn't do it this year as everyone was somewhere else and I really missed the silliness! So glad to see there are other families who like wearing funny hats!
