We have three Chihuahua's - Max, Ruby & Lulu. Max and Lulu just turned seven and are brother and sister. Ruby is the baby at six - we call her the cat. We really wanted them to be in our wedding photos. But what with it being 42 degrees (107.6f) and us running late all day it didn't end up happening.
I've been working on our wedding album and we were both disappointed that the dogs weren't going to make an appearance. They are our little family.
So a few weekends ago we got back into our wedding outfits and took some photos ourselves. Mr B took the photos of Ruby (the black one) and Lulu (the white one) and I took the photo of Max (the caramel one).
I'm really pleased with how they turned out.
Are you including your fur kids in your wedding?
P.s. My dress was SO tight I could barely get the zip up. Can anyone say comfort zone? Ha

I want to include my Yorkie in the wedding somehow (flower dog?), but we can't decide if we really want to stress her out that day. I think she'd be on edge.
Too adorable! My goodness. My Arden the Beagle would be too much of an attention whore to be able to behave at the wedding. And he has this horrible habit of jumping up on people. He is like a disaster on four legs.

this is soooooooooo freaking cute! i cannot wait to get another dog (mine got hit by a car a few months before the wedding...soooo awful).

OMG I LOVE it! SOOOO cute! I would love to include our two cats but alas it won't work even though one of our cats is black and white which are our colors so he would blend in well :)
They're adorable!!! And I just love how you dressed up again. You're brave for doing so. I'm far too scared...it's been way too many months since I've put that baby on. :)

I totally want our American Bulldog/Boxer cross little-big guy to be involved. We will not be bringing him to the wedding, he's just too big (right now? like 140lbs and still growing) and too much of a clutz.
I'm totally planning on bring him along to our after-wedding photo shoot a week or two later... It will be awesome!

We have two rabbits that we're fond of, and a cat. Instead of having our bunnies at the event, we took photos of them and had a "bunny search game" for the kids that included a mini-bowling set for a prize for the kid who collected the most photos of Reese and Mona. :)

Oh I LOVE THEM!!! They are all so precious. :) I wish we could have included our boys, but we were away for the wedding and also cats are generally pretty uncooperative.

Adorable Overload!!!! If our cats could walk out with us during our ceremony with our rings hanging around their necks, then yes. But since they hate collars, hate leashes, and hate being told what to do, we can't. I think we've created two little monsters!

p.s I still think my theory about the amount of sweat the dress soaked up on the wedding day and the subsequent shrinkage of said dress is the ONLY reasonable explanation for zippage difficulties. Oh you know I'm right sexy married lady.
that is a great idea!!!!! there is no way i can take my doggie to the wedding and not give him 100% of my attention..... so that is out. but pics with them is awesome.
Well, I'm not about to get married and my former pets, two ferrets, are long since gone to ferret heaven. But if the situation had been different when I had them, I'm sure I would have dressed them up a bit too! :)
They are soooo cute!! Max looks SO HAPPY to be taking a picture in his little bow tie! lol I would loooove our boys to be in our wedding but our boston is HYPER and our other dog is just soo big lol it wouldnt work :(
So adorable! Mr Fix It keeps saying he wants to include our dog in the ceremony but it just would be way too inconvenient. Plus, with his illness, Mr Fix It has been going back and forth each day wondering if it is time for us to put him to sleep :( I keep praying he makes it a few more months until after we return from the honeymoon and have some time together as a family. So far, he's been doing better this week.
Perhaps we'll get dressed up and do what you did with him when we get back - great idea!!!
