Love Giovanni's shrimp truck on the way to North Shore.
There is also a Japanese shaved ice place on the North shore which escapes me now...will try to find it for you.
I was intrigued by other tourists on their Segways too - could be a fun rental!
A car and a drive up North would definitely be awesome!

Lucky you! I haven't been to Oahu, but I have been to the Big Island. If you are prone to getting eaten alive by mosquitos like me, pack bug spray!!! And have an amazing time and drink a mai tai (or seven) for me.

Ok, you find the cutest freaking bathing suits! Wish we could meet up with you there :)
Definitely hit the north shore...there's some resort there called Turtle Bay or something that is super nice to lay out at. There's also a place closer to Oahu called the Il Hilani or something like that. We hung at the beach right in front of it and it was so relaxing.
Try to get away from the touristy beaches.
And have so much fun!

I've just arrived back from holiday myself, having spent almost two weeks with some friends in Croatia, by the Adriatic coast in the Mediterranean. Such a wonderful place, and going abroad somewhere warmer and more exotic than home is always enjoyable.

July is one of the best months to visit! The shaved ice place on the North Shore is Matsumoto. Yummy. If you're staying in Wakiki, the Mai Tais at the Royal Hawaiian Mai Tai bar are dangerously good. Hmm. Try to eat outside of Waikiki, it's expensive and the food is hit and miss. If you want specific reccs email me!
You will have such an amazing time! If you are greeted with a lei, I want my money back!!! JK! I never got a lei the entire time I was there. How sad :( There are so many things to do!
